A FIRE crew from Crediton was sent to an address in Union Road, Crediton, just after 7am this morning, Monday, December 11, following a call from a care line which monitors sheltered accommodation at the address.

An elderly lady resident had fallen inside the lift and was being cared for in the lift.

Firefighters administered some casualty care to the lady, whilst awaiting the arrival of an ambulance crew.

Once on scene, duty of care was left with the ambulance crew and the carer.
