A FAMILY Fun Fete will take place at Crediton Rugby Club today, Friday, May 13, from 3.30pm to 7pm, in aid of Children’s Hospice South West.

There will be fun and games for all, including Family Fortunes, apple bobbing, a bottle game, Splat the Rat, tombola, cake stall and so much more.

There will also be a Pay as You Play game and everyone is encouraged to take along their change, 10p, 20p and 50p coins. There are prizes to be won.

Admission will be free-of-charge and the bar will be open for cold drinks.

The event is being organised by a group of employees from Graphic plc in Crediton and all are invited to attend.

The Graphic employees will then be holding a Charity Meat Bingo evening at Crediton Football Club on Friday, May 27.

Doors open at 7pm and eyes down will be at 7.30pm.

There will also be a raffle, and prizes would be welcomed.

A Quiz Night will be held on Wednesday, June 8, beginning at 8pm, and this will take place at Buccaneer’s Bar, Crediton.

Teams are invited to attend and take part.

The cost will be £2 per person and there will be a maximum of five people per team.

There will be a cash prize for the winners.

On Saturday, June 25, a Music Event will take place on Saturday, June 25 at Crediton Rugby Club.

Bands taking part will be “Skin-deep” and “Skyborn”, as well as performances by Helen Triebel and Mike Courtney.

Doors will open at 7pm and the music will begin at 8pm.

As with the Family Fun Fete, all these events are being organised to raise funds for the Children’s Hospice South West.
