TO celebrate the coming of age and 21 years in business, Devon Sales and Lettings has updated not only the name of the company to Carter Geering, but also the range and quality of services it is able to offer clients.
Graham Carter started the company as Devon Lettings in 1995 with four co-directors, and became the sole director a few years later.
He was joined in 2004 by Rupert Geering who became a director in 2011.
The firm have established strong bonds in the area, with other estate agencies that they work closely with to ensure maximum exposure of properties, as well as with various local experts.
As well as Residential Sales, Lettings and Property Management the business is able to advise on commercial property, and an ever increasing part of the business is Land and New Homes which is run with the help and expertise of Simon Archer, of Architectural Services, also based in the town.
All of the staff at Carter Geering are truly local, having been brought up in the area, and know the town and surrounding area intimately.
Sarah previously worked in the travel and tourism trade, before joining the firm in 2007. Kathy worked for the Southgate Hotel and joined the firm in 2012, her mother runs a florist in the town; Josh studied at the University of the West of England before joining the firm in 2014, both of his parents taught locally, and his stepfather works for a local funeral directors.
Michelle is well-known in the town, and previously worked in customer service for a high street bank, and Charlotte has just started with the company as an apprentice and is currently undertaking an NVQ in estate agency.
A reception was held at Carter Geering’s Crediton High Street offices to mark the 21st anniversary.
