A BIG “thank you” to all the friends and supporters who attended our recent fundraising events.

At Crediton ELF Fundraising Group we held another successful “Big Breakfast” on Saturday, October 4 and as always our very grateful to our friends at Copplestone Methodist Church for allowing us to use the community hall and kitchen and especially to Mandi and Nigel Schofield for cooking such a tasty breakfast.

Thanks to Darts Farm for donating the bacon, A J Cox Butchers, Crediton for donating the sausages, Black Dog Eggs for donating the eggs and to all who helped in any way.

Despite coinciding with Storm Amy the event was well attended and it was lovely to see so many friends braving the weather to support us.

This was preceded by our September meat bingo at Crediton Football Club, which as always was well attended – a special mention to Ian Cann our caller.

On Saturday, November 29 we held another very successful Big Quiz at the Boniface Centre, supported by 17 teams, and once again very well organised by John and Suzanne Lunn - as always a very popular event.

Our fundraising this year will end on Wednesday, December 10 with our annual Christmas Bingo at Crediton Football Club please come along – doors open at 6.45pm, Eyes-down 7.30pm. Christmas prizes and top prize for each flier will be a Christmas Hamper.

Our first event of 2026 will be a meat bingo at Crediton FC on Wednesday, January 21, look out for further details.

Finally, thank you the local businesses who display our posters and help us to publicise our events – it really makes a difference.

Our local Crediton Fundraising Committee has dwindled in numbers over the last couple of years for a number of reasons - if you feel able to get involved in supporting the work of Exeter Leukaemia Fund please contact Glenn ([email protected]) - we would love to hear from you.

We value your support and wish you all a very happy and blessed Christmas and best wishes for 2026!
