MORE than 10 bags of clothes and equipment was loaded onto a van outside the East Town Cafe in Crediton on Saturday, April 15, to be taken to Taunton to the warehouse of RAFT, Refugee Aid From Taunton.

From there it will be taken out to refugee camps in East Europe and the Middle East.

Helpers loaded the bags onto the van belonging to Jordan Clark.

More clothes, tents, sleeping bags and blankets are needed, and can be dropped off at the East Town Cafe, which is opposite Hayward’s Primary School, up until the end of June.

Welcoming Refugees in Crediton, who organised the collection, is grateful to Lucy Betts, the Cafe owner, for arranging storage and Jordan Clark for taking the items to Taunton.
