SHELF Life (Exeter Leukaemia Fund), in Crediton is looking for volunteers to help with the running of its busy High Street Charity shop.

Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF) is a well-established local charity that has had a shop in Crediton for more than 17 years.

The shop was opened at its present site in February 2015 by Jo Pavey, and has since grown to be a very busy hub receiving a vast amount of donations.

ELF is looking for volunteers to join its team to assist in the daily running of the shop.

Daily tasks will include merchandising, front of house customer service and backroom duties.

ELF offers a comprehensive training and induction programme to all of its volunteers allowing them to feel valued and appreciated.

Julie King, Retail Operations Manager at Exeter Leukaemia Fund, said: “Our volunteers are an integral part of the ELF team. If five people can volunteer for us three hours a week each, this will help ELF raise more funds to assist patients and their families being treated for blood cancers.”

If you feel that you can offer some of your free time to volunteer at Shelf Life and are interested in joining the current team of volunteers, you can call into the shop for more details or alternatively telephone the ELF retail team on 01392 826 881.
