A MOTORBIKE ride with a special chocolatey difference will take place on Easter Sunday this year – and you could be part of it.

The riders will be delivering chocolate Easter eggs to youngsters with life-limiting illnesses at the South West Children’s Hospice at Little Bridge House, Fremington, near Barnstaple.

So why not join "Exeter Based Motorcycle Rides" for a ride to remember? It will take place on Sunday, March 27, meeting at Cowley Bridge Road layby, Exeter, EX4 5BX.

Be there early and ready to leave at 11am. To join in just turn up on two wheels (or three for trikes!) with a full tank of fuel and make sure you bring chocolate eggs and any other donations you wish to make to the hospice.

Everyone will leave Cowley Bridge Road layby and go on a scenic ride to Little Bridge House.

Once there you can hand over your eggs to the children. The hospice will accept any extra gifts and donations you may want to give on the day.

There will be a stop at a cafe on the way there so you can get a hot drink and food if needed.

Everyone is welcome no matter what type of motorbike or rider you are, all routes are suitable for 125cc bikes who can’t go on motorways.

"This year will be our third Easter Egg ride out and every year it’s so special to see the smiles on the children’s and families faces. Get on your motorbike, bring eggs, chocolate ones not chicken ones, we hope to see you there!"
