FOR more than 30 years the Crediton Area Playscheme for children with Special Needs has provided days out and residential trips for children with all kinds of special needs who live in or near to Crediton.

As well as providing new self enhancing experiences and exciting trips for youngsters, the days out can provide much welcomed respite for their families and offer volunteers the opportunity to become involved.

However, most of the existing committee members are now standing down after many years of help.

New committee members are needed to run the charity, to arrange the trips and to recruit volunteers to accompany the children.  Without new committee members, the Playscheme will have to close.

The AGM is being held on September 14 at 7pm at 3 George Hill, Crediton EX17 2DT. 

If anyone is interested in joining the committee or wishes to know all about it, they will be made very welcome if they attend the AGM.
