A TIVERTON man has appeared in court charged with arson.

Krzysztof Halon, 42, of no fixed abode, appeared before magistrates on Thursday, July 24.

He is charged with arson and arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered, relating to an alleged incident at a property in Tiverton town centre in the early hours of Wednesday, July 23.

He was remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Exeter Crown Court on Thursday, August 21.
