BUILDING new homes without new jobs was not the best way round to tackle a situation said members of Crediton Town Council who took heart at their April meeting at the news that action may be taken to induce the release of industrial land at the Tesco site in Crediton.

Details that action may be taken against Tesco followed a debate about finance and housing between members of Crediton Town Council and Kevin Finan, Mid Devon District Council chief executive.
