NEWTON St Cyres Young Farmers' Club members Georgina Davie, Lydia Dennis, Hollie Parkhouse, Marie Phillips, Emma Davie, Shelley Trevelyan, Katie Waring and Annabel Hill will be taking part in the Royal Marine Commando Challenge on Sunday, October 7 to raise money for the Devon Air Ambulance Trust and The C Group supporting Royal Marines. 

In total the girls need to raise £480 so they are looking for individuals and companies to sponsor them for this event. If you are able to help them in any way please contact Georgina by email: [email protected]">[email protected] .

In order to raise extra sponsorship the girls have organised a Pub Quiz which will take place tonight, Friday, September 28 at the Waie Inn, Zeal Monachorum at 7.30pm for 8pm start. Teams of four are invited to take part at £5 per team. Contact 07801 273 424 for more information.
