A TRACTOR and trailer were used to deliver harvest produce donations to the altar for blessing at a recent Harvest Festival.

The driver was Josh (4), who has been taken to heart by the village and has been through a long battle against cancer.

Josh has recently been given the all clear from cancer, which has been welcomed by the community.

More than 50 people attended the service at Coldridge Parish Church, which was conducted by Rev Preb Peter Rapsey.

It included the traditional hymns “We Plough the Fields and Scatter” and “Come Ye Thankful People, Come”.

The produce was donated to The Amber Foundation and the collection of more than £200 was sent to Farming Community Network.
