POTHOLES in an historic cobbled pathway at Ivy Drum, between Crediton High Street and Kiddicott, have been filled in with concrete, it is believed against planning and conservation regulations.

A local resident reported the incident to the “Crediton Courier” and the information was passed to Crediton Town Council.

“It is part of old Crediton that has been ruined”, said the local resident.

Crediton Town Council has now passed on the information to Mid Devon District Council’s Conservation Officer, Paul Dadson, for his action.
