CREDITON Youth Service hosted a screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing at Queen Elizabeth’s School on Monday, September 28, attracting 54 attendees, including sixth form students.

The short film aims to create a shared understanding of the scale and implications of climate and nature breakdown, encouraging discussion about the climate crisis in a public environment.

Following the screening, Peer Educators Zeph and Izzy spoke passionately about their reactions, biodiversity and the Youth Service’s work, such as the micro-forest project.

A community discussion also took place, exploring how Queen Elizabeth’s School and Crediton could become more sustainable.

Students were invited to join local climate-action activities, including Gardening Club and the Youth Council, run by Crediton Youth Service and QE.
