A GROUP of cyclists gathered at the Exeter Road junction, Crediton last Saturday, to draw attention to the need for cleaner air.

Keen cyclist and member of Crediton Climate Action Transport Group, Laura Conyngham, led the way along Park Road, Park Street and Union Terrace. The group were greeted by the Town Band when they arrived at the Town Square where they joined the 350 Climate Action protest "Crediton Counts. "

Pledges to reduce their carbon footprint were collected locally, from individuals and groups. These will be taken to the UN climate summit in Copenhagen, in December, by Gerald and Laura Conyngham who will cycle most of the way there.
