A CHRISTMAS Market was held at Lapford Victory Hall on Saturday, November 24, organised by Barbara Appleton, who runs the monthly markets.

The top prize in the draw, which was in aid of SOBS (Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide), was won by Anita Finley.

Other prizes were won by Wendy Copp, Mary Chapple and Freda from Copplestone.

There was also a second large Market Christmas raffle with many prizes, including a large hamper.

There is no market in December, so the next one is in late January.

The Grand Draw, raised £80 for SOBS, plus as they raised £30 at the Christmas Market, Barbara is donating £110 to SOBS as this is the last raffle she will do for them.
