THE fantastic display of Christmas Lights at 41 Meadowside Road at Sandford has raised an impressive £276.40 in donations for the charity, Devon Air Ambulance.

Alan Northcote and his family have decorated the front of their home in aid of charity for the last few years and this year they chose to support the Air Ambulance.

Alan explained that children loved to see the display which he lit from 4.30pm to 10pm each day.

He said that the display included four snowmen, four Father Christmasses, a polar bear, unicorn, tree, reindeer, train, elves, dogs, sledges and much much more.

Alan likes to add to his display each year, often looking out for items to add to it in the sales.

He explained: "We have had a count up and we have raised an amazing £276.40 this year.

"We are all blown away by all of your generosity in support of this amazing cause.

"Thank you all so very much! It is truly appreciated."

The lights were in place until January 6.
