THE North Tawton fire crew put out a chimney fire at a property in Coldridge on Friday, February 19, after a telephone call was made to Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service at 5.48pm.

On arrival the crew confirmed that the fire involved a wood burning stove and set to work using small tools, chimney rods and chimney equipment to put out the fire.

A thermal imaging camera was used to check the fire was out.
