TESCO Crediton community champion, Andrew Drayton has been visiting local early years children to help them create art work to brighten the foyer at the Well Parks store.

Children at Pippins pre-school had great fun making bonfire pictures helped by Andrew and members of the staff at the pre-school.

Andrew explained: "It is a brilliant idea to get the children involved and they bring their parents and other family members to see their pictures.

"The children's artwork brightens up the whole place up."

Andrew also visited Copplestone Primary School to work with the children making firework pictures.

Teacher of Rainbow Class, Helen Moores said: "Children from the pre-school and Rainbow class created the firework art.

"It was a little bit windy and we had spots of rain, but despite this the children thoroughly enjoyed flicking and dabbing paint to create some spectacular Firework pictures.

" Even the children were very colourful by the end of it!

She added: "It is great for the children to produce something that so many people will see and we hope that they enjoy it as much as we enjoyed doing it"

The exhibition in the Tesco store foyer at Well Parks will be there from today to November 7, with Pippin's bonfire artwork on one side and the firework artwork from Copplestone Primary School on the other.
