Crediton Parish Church is looking to recruit children aged eight years and up for the church choir.

There will be free singing training, RSCM medals to be earned, fun socials and trips to sing in cathedrals.

Every couple of years (Covid permitting) there are trips to sing abroad too. Most children that stay in the choir easily pass music GCSE with little or no other training.

Rehearsals for children are from 5.45pm to 6.30pm on Tuesdays, followed by playtime/social, and Fridays from 6pm to 7pm (finishing a bit later for older children).

There is also an opportunity at the Sunday service where children can perform what they have learnt.

There are vacancies for adults too, for Friday and Sunday evenings particularly sopranos, altos and tenors.
