CHILDREN from Early Birds Nursery in Crediton took part in a Christmas play written by nursery manager, Shaaron Hooper.

The play entitled “A Curly Tale” was a take on the story of “The Three Little Pigs” and related to the nursery’s houses and homes topic for this term.

Shaaron explained: “We like to make sure that each group of children has a part in the Christmas play.

“We only put on one performance this year for parents and guardians and the response we had was excellent.

“The children were all so well behaved – they were amazing!”

The play involved a host of characters including Father Christmas, “Bob the Builders,” scarecrows, stars and superhero wolves.
