THE Tiverton Friends Group of Children's Hospice South West have held another of their popular Antiques Call My Bluff Quiz in Cheriton Fitzpaine Parish Hall.

Three auctioneers from Bearnes Hampton and Littlewood gave the performance of their lives, showing us various items and giving us ideas as to what they were.

Most of us found that the more outrageous the description, the more likely this was the answer.

In the interval, guests were served Cornish pasties or sausage rolls bought at a discounted price from Julian B's Bakery in Crediton.

The sum of £700 was raised for the Children's Hospice, and newcomers learnt a little more about the movement.

Thank you to the Tiverton Friends for their hard work and initiative in organising a really fun evening.
