CLASS Four at Cheriton Bishop Primary School have been investigating recycling. As part of this topic the children built an igloo out of plastic milk bottles to highlight the problem of plastic in our oceans.

The igloo took 10 hours to build and used more than 250 plastic milk bottles of different sizes.

Alongside the igloo, Class Four contacted Crediton Tesco, which provided the class with lots of plastic bags from their recycling plastic bags container at the front of their store.

Andrew Drayton, Crediton store Tesco Community Champion, took the bags to the school and talked to the children about how Tesco recycles its waste.

Class Four has used the plastic bags to make friendship bracelets, coasters and place mats.
