A CHARITY Fundraising Day for Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF) in Crediton will include two events.

There will be a Fun Five-a-Side Family Football Tournament at the Lords Meadow Leisure Centre from 10am and a Circular walk, going through Shobrooke Park, starting at Crediton Football Club clubhouse at 2.15pm.

The Crediton ELF Group will be holding the football tournament and charity walk on Sunday, September 13.

Families are invited to make up a team and join in with the football tournament. Shin pads must be worn.

The entry fee is just £10 per team. Hot dogs, ice creams and drinks will be available to buy.

The fun charity walk will be about four miles long.

Entry is just £5 per person, no charge for children under 16. Dogs must be on leads please due to livestock.

Cream teas and refreshments will be available and a prize draw will be held.

All proceeds from the day will be donated to ELF to provide support to patients diagnosed with leukaemia and lymphoma from across Devon and the South West.

Funds help the Royal Devon and Exeter hospital to provide excellent care and treatment, purchase equipment, fund research and provide transport to chemotherapy patients.

All are invited to attend and enjoy a fun game or a relaxed walk, whilst helping a truly worthwhile cause.
