ALWAYS a good chance to find excellent local produce, Shobrooke’s Harvest Celebration Day is Saturday, September 16 with the church open and stalls from 10am until 5pm.

There will be the opening service at the Holy Well very close to the church at 10.15am and at 3pm the delightful shower of rose petals from the tower with toys zooming down as well.

A bin for Crediton and District Foodbank will be at the church plus another at the Red Lion in the centre of the village.

Stalls in the church will include a grand draw, tombola, various competitions, refreshments, bric-a-brac and more.

The day is organised by the Friends of Shobrooke St Swithun’s Church.
