CHRISTINA Dymond of Sustainable Crediton was on Crediton Town Square on Saturday, April 2, during the Farmers’ Market, promoting the car share scheme and giving people advice on how to get started and link up with others who also want to carshare.

The campaign to get people in Crediton and the surrounding villages car sharing has been launched by Sustainable Crediton as part of carsharedevon.com .

Car sharing can be used for both regular and one-off journeys and can help to reduce congestion, cut carbon emissions and save money.

Liz Brookes-Hocking, The Mayor of Crediton, ran a surgery on behalf of Crediton Town Council and the Devon County Councillor for Crediton, Cllr Frank Letch ran a surgery for Devon County Council at the Farmers’ Market, chatting to people on a variety of subjects.

Some of the knitting group, Friday Craft Inn, were at the market raising funds for Ukraine by selling blue and yellow knitted items and will be at the Easter Farmers’ Market with lots more.

Visitors to the market were entertained by Karl Zumar Music.
