FIRE crews and members of Crediton Detachment ACF joined forces collecting at the Crediton Tesco store on Saturday morning raising funds for the Fire Fighters Charity.

Crediton's fire crews collect three or four times a year for the charity. Other members of the town's fire service were collecting on the High Street.

They were also handing out free fire safety advice cards should anyone not have a fire alarm or be concerned about fire safety in the home.

A total of £611.50 was raised during the morning.
