A MALE was seen acting suspiciously around St Matthew’s Church at Coldridge on Monday, February 25.

It is thought that the male may have stolen items from the church. Investigations are ongoing.

Crediton PCSO Nicola Payne issued a statement saying: “Please be mindful of any vehicles or people acting suspiciously around local churches or non-residential buildings.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police via: [email protected] or by calling 101 , quoting crime reference CR/017529/19.”

She added that information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or reporting online at: www.crimestoppers-uk.org .
