EVERY year local musicians are gathered together by North Tawton resident Peter Cripps to play Christmas Carols in North Tawton’s Town Square on Christmas morning.

The occasion has drawn large and generous crowds in recent years and substantial donations have been raised for charities.

This year the event, entitled “Crippsey Brass” will begin at 10am and run until 10.45am.

Carol sheets will be provided and all are invited to go along and join in.

Donations will be collected for Devon Air Ambulance and Peter hopes that this year the record sum of £800 raised last year will be broken.

There will also be a special draw and this will include the prize of a free 30-minute flight in a vintage aircraft.
