SUSTAINABLE Crediton held its sixth annual Big Green Fair on Saturday, September 26 in the Town Square.

There was a wide variety of stalls, arts and crafts, games, eco-advice, live music and more.

Sustainable Crediton’s Community Larder Group kept people fed and watered with hot soup lunches, homemade cakes and hot drinks.

Graham Ley of Graham’s Re-cycle-ables offered refurbished bikes for sale with proceeds going to Devon Air Ambulance.

Performers on the music stage included Etchechuria, Corduroy Curiosities, Rob Husband, With Love from Ukraine, and Ian “Slide” Edgar.

New initiative the Crediton Area Community Land Trust was also there recruiting members. It was set up to counter what it sees as unsustainable development in favour of community decisions on how the town should expand.
