CREDITON Beaver Scouts spent a recent evening litter picking around Crediton.

Helen Olsson, Beaver Leader, First Crediton Scout Group, said: "We picked up litter in Newcombes Meadow, along to the library, up and around People’s Park and then back down and along the High Street to the Town Square.

"The boys did really well especially as it was pouring with rain towards the end, and have earned part of their World Challenge badge by helping to keep their local community clean."
