LOCAL man Georges Robehmed is planning to start a backgammon club in Crediton and would like to hear from anyone who would be interested in playing or learning to play backgammon.

He plans to run the club fortnightly from 7 - 9 pm of an evening in a room at St Boniface Church, Park Street.

Georges plans to charge a small fee and will provide refreshments and prizes.

The club will welcome all adults, from beginners to more experienced players.
