AN Autumn Ceilidh, organised by members of the Crediton and District branch of the University of the Third Age (U3A) will be held at Sandford Parish Hall on Saturday, October 29, from 8pm to 10.30pm.

Dancing will be accompanied by the Second Sight Band, with caller Pam Hayes and tickets are £3, which enters the holder into a raffle for a hamper. Voluntary donations will also be welcomed for Second Sight, a charity which restores sight to those unnecessarily blind from cataract, in the worst region of the world for this condition, Bihar and western Odisha in India.

The evening is also open to non-members and no partners are needed. Those who go along are asked to take their own drinks and nibbles but plates and glasses will be provided.
