THE wonderfully talented Crediton Town Band and impressive Crediton Youth Orchestra presented a joyfull Spring Concert in Crediton Parish Church on May 18.

The band, under Musical Director Iorwerth Pugh, were entertained with the “Harry Potter” theme tune, an eight-part madrigal, “Over the Rainbow”, a “Sound of Music” medley, “Born Free” and tunes by Goff Richards including “The Crediton Craftsman”, amongst others.

There were a number of solos and the audience was left admiring the high standard.

Similarly with Crediton Youth Orchestra, led by Alison Golby, the audience was left full of admiration for fantastic performances.

Tunes included “Skyfall”, “Radioactive”, “Don’t Stop Me Now”, “Mamma Mia” by a flute ensemble, a piece featuring a saxaphone ensemble, a jazz combo, “Disney” medley, “In the Mood” and more.
