DEVON boasts a thriving community of artists covering all formats and working in many different styles.
Whether you are looking for something beautiful to brighten your home, hunting for the perfect gift or just love admiring the work of local artists, the Autumn Art Fair at Eggesford Garden Centre is well worth a visit.
With more than 20 Devon based artists showing their work there is bound to be something that catches your eye.
The event will take place on Sunday, September 27, from 11am to 4pm, entry is free and there will be plenty of car-parking space.
“This is the third Art Fair that we have held and it seems to be a very popular event,” said Derrick Dyer, owner of Eggesford Garden Centre, who added: “The feedback has been really good from both stall holders and customers so we are very pleased to be running the event again.”
As well as individual artists, local art societies and groups are also exhibiting the fair.
Original works in many mediums will be on show along with artist made prints and cards. The wide range of topics includes landscapes, wildlife and portraits.
Set in the beautiful Taw valley, Eggesford Gardens is a good destination for a day out.
There is a well-stocked garden centre selling a wide range of plants along with gifts, books, toys and seasonal goods too. Delicious home-cooked food is served all day in the Gardens Restaurant and Sunday lunches are especially popular.
Make sure you don’t miss this new event at Eggesford Gardens.
