Hundred of homes in Devon are still without power after Storm Goretti according to the National Grid.

The worst affected areas included Newton Abbot, South Brent, a few still without power at Tiverton and Honiton.

The Crediton area escaped most of the serious damage as experienced in Cornwall and other parts of the county.

However, there has still been some flooding, debris across roads and pavements, trees down and a report of ice on roads still near Chulmleigh.

The wind and rain battered against windows meaning a restless night for many.
