MICHAEL Szabo, who co-ordinates the Crediton “It’s Your Neighbourhood" Britain In Bloom South West competition judging each year says that the judges are due to return to Crediton in July and is appealing for the public to tidy up gardens, pull up weeds and pick up litter to make the town look more appealing.

He asks that people ensure their flower beds look neat and tidy and said he would like to see more hanging baskets and floral displays around the town.

He would also like a volunteer or group to paint some fencing at one location in the town and, perhaps, find a group which could help with litter picking or tidying floral/garden areas.
