A D-DAY 75-year Commemorative event will take place on Thursday, June 6, on Crediton Town Square between 5pm and 8pm.
It is to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the largest seaborne invasion force in history that liberated Europe, the turning point for World War Two.
The Crediton community event will involve Crediton Air Training Corps, Crediton Town Band and include live music from “Ice an a Slice”, a singing duo transporting people back to the charm of the 1940’s.
There will be classic bikes from the Exeter Classic Motorcycle Club and Royal British Legion merchandise will be on sale.
There will be activities for children.
Local coffee shops and cafes will all remain open until 8pm.
If you are “young” enough to remember D-day please go along and share your memories, if you are not, just go along and enjoy the evening!
