A brand new game which is suitable and fun for all ages was introduced for the event.
Many of the members of the Third Crediton Brownies went along to help and keep scores for players, and they added greatly to the level of excitement at the occasion.
The bowls featured six "crazy holes," and although not too difficult to play, the elusive clear round was not achieved: even though more than 50 people tried.
The game itself proved great fun, and will be a feature of the 2017 Crediton Festival as part of Age Concern’s contribution to that event.
Age Concern are very grateful to the Brownies and Brown Owl Gill Taylor for their help.
