CREDITON Police have today, Wednesday, August 19, issued a warning to local residents to be vigilant after a number of burglaries.

A spokesperson said: “Please be aware that a number of burglaries have been reported in our area.

“In a number of these burglaries keys have been taken. These range from padlock and door keys to quad bike keys.

“Please take the time to ensure your property is as secure as possible and that keys are removed and kept in a location which would not be obvious to an intruder.”
