CRAZY Bowls will be played in Crediton’s Town Square on Saturday, October 8, from 10am to 12.30pm.

John Musty, from Age Concern Crediton, the inventor of the game, says: “Crazy Bowls involves rolling a golf ball into nine holes round a special fun course, scoring points along the way.

“Scores will be collected during the morning, and a winner will be notified at the end of the day.

Each round will cost £1 for the first time, and 50p for each subsequent round. This is a fun game, in which all of the members of the family can play. There will also be a team prize!”

Mr Musty said that every penny earned will go to Age Concern Crediton, to help it give care, support, and a better quality of life to the elderly of the town.

All are welcome to attend and “have-a-go”.
