A CO-OPERATIVE Store could well be on the cards in Crediton. Co-operative Estates Department from Manchester has submitted a planning application to Mid Devon District Council for the removal and replacement of shop front and alterations to public access at the former Costcutter food supermarket premises at 135 High Street, Crediton. Agents Haarer Goss, of Exeter, previously confirmed that the lease of the former Costcutter food supermarket premises was under offer. Recently a spokesperson for the commercial property consultants told the Courier that the negotiations for the premises were "at an early stage" but further details would be available in the near future. The property has been empty for almost two years. Alan Quick
