A DEVON Air Ambulance charity donation box was stolen from the Crediton Devon Air Ambulance charity shop on Tuesday, July 1.
The incident happened at about 1.53pm and there is good CCTV of the person believed to be responsible.
The man police would like to speak to is believed to be about 40 years of age and was wearing a straw hat, black jacket, khaki-coloured trousers and blue trainers.
He was also wearing dark sunglasses and had a rucksack on his back.
Local people are asked to get in touch if they found a discarded charity collection box.
The man was also reported to have visited a number of other shops in the town and was last seen at a bus stop.
