POLICE are concerned for the welfare of a 43 year-old David Read, who has been reported missing from the Crediton area.

David, from Stockleigh English, was last seen at 10am on Tuesday, December 14. He is described as a white male, 5ft 11in tall, average build with dark brown hair and a beard. He was wearing a khaki-coloured quilted jacket, blue jeans and dark brown Chelsea boots.

UPDATE: David Read has been found safe by police, who would like to thank members of the public for their help.
