MOTORISTS are experiencing some serious flooding issues in the Crediton area due to the recent heavy rain.

Crediton Courier reporter/photographer Sue Read reports on issues in the Yeoford area.

She said: “For several hours (now 5pm), don’t even think about using the Keymelford Road.

“Water at the bridge is 3ft 9inches deep and likely to rise!

“Even access to the footpath is flooded!”

She also warned that the road by Yeoford Chapel is seriously flooded.

Higher Road at Crediton is also now seriously flooded for one stretch but was earlier passable with care.
