EMERGENCY services are currently at the scene of a road traffic accident on the A377 between B3096 Leigh Road (Copy Lake) to James's Week Lane (Eggesford).

The accident occurred just before 5pm today, Saturday, July 15, near to Copy Lake, Bridge Reeve, Chulmleigh.

Devon and Cornwall Police say that the road is closed in both directions.

Traffic is advised to find an alternative route.
