ON a sunny Sunday at Downes Crediton Golf Club, the Lions Club of Crediton and District celebrated its 44th Charter Anniversary with a lunch.

There were 29 in attendance to celebrate the event but unfortunately a number had to drop out due to covid.

Welcomed guests attended from Exeter, Honiton and Tiverton and all had an enjoyable time.

The following toasts were given by Crediton Lions President Hazel Evely, who presented the Loyal Toast and to Lions Club International.

Immediate Past District Governor David Fitzpatrick responded on behalf of Lions International and Lion Peter Bryan proposed the toast to “Our Partners and Guests”.
