CREDITON badminton player Dee Weiner (25) has returned from a recent competition with two silver medals.

Adding to her tally of medals already obtained in badminton competitions, Dee won her latest at the Dwarf Sports Association National Badminton and Boccia competition held at Wolverhampton on October 6 and 7.

Dee won silver in the singles against Rebecca Bedford, a player in the England para Badminton squad in SS6 category.

She also received silver in the doubles with her new doubles partner, Lauren Wright.

Last year Dee won gold in the women’s singles in Division Two in the learning disability category and silver in the women’s doubles with her then doubles partner Nikki Welch from Cornwall.

She also achieved silver in the mixed doubles with her mixed doubles partner Murrie Robertson from Glasgow.

Dee said she was “thrilled” with her latest success.
