CREDITON and District Skittles League held its Presentation Evening on Saturday, May 13 at the Waie Inn, Zeal Monachorum.

There were more players and guests in attendance than in previous seasons.

The evening got underway with the finals of the Ladies and Men’s Individual games and results were as follows:

LADIES

First Round: 50 - Di Hammett (Crediton Pirates), 51 - Lisa Daw (Show Stoppers); 63 - Helen Maxson (Kings Jesters), 69 - Keira Willing (Spudlers) - there were eight legs played to get the winner of this game); 60 - Lisa Southcombe (Newton Winklers), 40 - Hazel Hodge (Crediton Pirates); 44 - Lucy Anning (Spudlers), 42 - Pat Kemp (Kirton Krackers) only five legs played.

Semi-Final: 49 - Lisa Daw, 50 - Keira Willing; 65 - Lisa Southcombe, 37 - Lucy Anning.

Final: 56 - Keira Willing, 49 - Lisa Southcombe.

MEN’S

There were only six players available for final due to two having other commitments.

First Round: 54 - Andy Bradford (Them and Us), 55 - Dave Cann (Newton Rebels); 47 - Graham Blackburn (Newton Winklers), 50 - David Searle (Runaways). Byes: Kevin Cavill (Hellraisers); Martyn Slyfield (Spudlers).

Semi-Final: 81 - Kevin Cavill, 36 - Martyn Slyfield (only played five legs); 44 - Dave Cann, 59 – David Searle.

Final: 54 - Kevin Cavill, 58 - David Searle.

The league would like to thank Sue Tucker for presenting the trophies.
