CREDITON angler, Alan Greenslade, had his best ever day at Creedy Lakes Fishery in Crediton during a recent weekend when he managed to tempt out four catches by coffee time to just over 21lbs in weight.

Anth Botting, another angler from the town, had a spot of carp fishing after a break of nearly 10 years.

He chose to fish up past the boathouse in one of his lucky swims and he also had some action banking a 21lbs common.
